Our Story

Orlando Epoxy Floor Pros was founded by Central Florida tradesmen who got tired of watching their friends and neighbors get oversold by out-of-state franchise epoxy operators. The kitchen-table-close model was producing five-figure quotes for work that should have cost a fraction of that, with warranties that wouldn’t transfer and crews that had never set foot in the garage until install day. We built Orlando Epoxy Floor Pros as the opposite of that model: a locally owned epoxy floor specialist that quotes after inspecting, that sends the same installer for both the inspection and the install, and that publishes its warranty terms in plain English.

Locally Owned, Orlando-Based

We live in Orlando. Our shop is in the metro, our trucks are out across Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Osceola counties every day, and our installers know your neighborhoods because they grew up in them. When you call us, the person who answers knows what Park Avenue traffic looks like on a Saturday, knows the difference between a 1920s Winter Park Mediterranean-revival slab and a 2010s Lake Mary master-planned estate, and knows the moisture-vapor-emission patterns near Big Sand Lake or Cranes Roost Lake. Meet the Team

Our installers come out of the concrete coatings and decorative-concrete trades. Every installer has been through hands-on training on diamond grinding to CSP profile, polyurea crack injection, moisture testing per ASTM F1869 and F2170, vapor-block primer specification, full broadcast flake systems, metallic epoxy pour technique, and polyaspartic topcoat application. We do not hire commission salespeople. The same installer who walks your slab on inspection day is the one who designs your install, who shows up on day one to grind, and who handles your 30-day follow-up visit.

What Makes Us Different

Three things, and they’re simple:

We quote after inspecting. Always. There is no phone quote, no “starting at” bait price, no kitchen-table close where you sign on inspection day or lose the discount. The written estimate arrives within 24 hours of the visit and holds for 30 days.

The inspecting installer does the install. No sales handoff, no surprise change orders on day one. The person who measured your slab is the person who installs the coating, and that single decision eliminates the most common failure mode in the epoxy-flooring business.

Our warranty is transferable. A 15-year manufacturer warranty on the polyaspartic topcoat and a 5-year transferable workmanship warranty on our install. Transfer is paperwork only — we do not charge a transfer fee.

Our Credentials

We are licensed contractors in the State of Florida and registered with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. We carry general liability coverage and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any work begins on your property. We are not affiliated with any national franchise, decorative-concrete chain, or general-contracting firm — we are independent specialists in residential and small-commercial epoxy and polyaspartic flooring.

Why We Specialize

Epoxy and polyaspartic flooring sits at the intersection of concrete prep, polymer chemistry, decorative finish work, and use-case engineering. A general contractor does not know how to spec a vapor-block primer for an Orlando lake-adjacent slab. A decorative-concrete crew often doesn’t run a calibrated moisture meter before coating. A franchise installer is paid by the install, not by the prep, and shortcuts diamond grinding on tight schedules. We specialize in this work because doing it well requires all four disciplines, and a generalist trying to do it as a side service usually produces a failed coating within a few summers in Central Florida. We do this one thing and we do it across hundreds of Orlando-area homes and shops every year.

What We Don’t Do

We don’t do flooring on top of carpet or vinyl tile (epoxy and polyaspartic systems bond to concrete, not to other floor coverings). We don’t do exterior driveway coatings exposed to direct sunlight as the primary use case without engineered UV chemistry (most polyaspartic topcoats handle UV well, but exposed driveways are a different specialty with different aggregate and chemistry needs). We don’t do epoxy-paint-kit installs from big-box-store products — those products do not survive a single Central Florida summer and we will not put our name on them.
